You have probably heard about Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist present in the 19th and 20th century, known for his amazing theories on consciousness. Today, we are reviewing his theory about the three births of our human spirit.
According to Carl Jung, every person undertakes a journey of three “births” spread throughout one’s lifetime. The first of them is our physical birth, followed by the birth of ego, and, finally, the birth of Consciousness.
Similar to the three births of our human spirit, each of us undergoes three phases of development in our life.
The first third of our life focuses on our bodily growth. The second is the growth of our ego and the third one is the period of internal development and growth.
